Cityscape Global 2025 was a blast.
Immense scale and energy across the halls and brilliant to be invited as a finalist of the Proptech innovation Challenge.
We had a booth at this years' event and enjoyed so many conversations with local KSA companies that gave us hope there's depth to the Saudi real estate sector beyond masterplans of the giga projects.
Couple of takeaways from this years show:
- Cityscape Global is immense. Blown away by the size, scale and ambition on display of the halls this year.
- Proptech is still work in progress. We were lucky enough to exhibiting next to the ROSHN Proptech Hackathon but not a huge amount of local firms around the halls to talk to.
- Beyond the giga-project headlines, it’s been especially fascinating to learn more about the urban redevelopment underway in Riyadh, the ambition and pace of change are on another level.
- And then there’s the sheer scale of the exhibitors themselves. This model below apparently world-record breaking (unverified!) – a perfect example of something that really should have been done in SpaceForm for the full immersive experience.
- Last but not least. For anyone going next year, Cityscape Global says it's in Riyadh, it's not it's 50 mins away and you don't want to hire a car! (view from the airplane below)
