SpaceForm On Demand
The next stage of our metaverse for the built environment is our new, on demand streaming service, which will be ready for action next month. The service will allow users to jump out of the current SpaceForm software and stream straight from a browser, allowing for a smoother and more effective user experience! Sign up to an On Demand demo.
After our inaugural SpaceFormTalks last year, featuring speakers from Zaha Hadid Architects, UN Studio, Squint/Opera and Heatherwick Studio, we can't wait to share details of our next event with you... this time showcasing projects hosted entirely in 3D in SpaceForm! USD and Unreal Engine 5.1 upgrades
We're excited to support the new Pixar Universal Scene Description (USD) file format – with the potential to be the html for the metaverse. The open source 3D scene description is used for 3D content creation and interchange among different tools and was originally developed by Pixar Animation Studios.
We've also upgraded to the latest offering from Unreal Engine, 5.1 enables an even better visual experience on desktop and in VR with Lumen. The upgrades include developments to allow for detailed simulations to run without latency, as well allowing for material-driven animations and deformations, amongst other additional functionalities and improved workflows.
As ever, if you are interested in finding out more, or would like to join our platform for design in the metaverse, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
